The new Cabinet of Ministers held its first meeting. Following the meeting, each minister was tasked with developing a specific action plan.
This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko on her Facebook page.
‘Each minister must define a specific action plan as soon as possible. No abstractions. These plans will be presented publicly, discussed with the relevant committees of the Verkhovna Rada, and then regularly reported on. We must move quickly,’ Svyrydenko said.
The prime minister also noted that she has had positive experience working with the Verkhovna Rada’s economic committee and expects constructive cooperation with others.
She separately emphasised that the new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers is one of the smallest in the history of independent Ukraine.
