The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has once again denied the Russian Ministry of Defence’s accusations of strikes on energy facilities.
According to the General Staff, the Russian military continues to spread fakes.
‘We emphasise that the Ukrainian Defence Forces strictly adhere to the agreements reached with partners to stop strikes on energy facilities. Fire is carried out exclusively against military targets of the Russian occupation army,’ the military said.
At the same time, Russia is violating these agreements: over the past day alone, energy facilities in Kherson and Poltava region were shelled. Ukraine expects its partners to respond.
The General Staff stressed that Russia’s disinformation is aimed at discrediting Ukraine and its diplomatic initiatives, and Moscow’s goal is to prolong the war.
On the morning of 28 March, the Russian Ministry of Defence accused Ukraine of ‘actually destroying’ the Sudzha gas metering station in Kursk Oblast.
