On Saturday, the Ukrainian military recorded 90 combat clashes along the entire front line, according to the General Staff of Ukraine. Russian troops continue to intensively shell the border regions of Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts, as well as attempting to break through in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Kramatorsk, Toretsk and Pokrovsk directions.
The fiercest fighting is taking place in the east of the country: in the Pokrovsk direction alone, the enemy carried out 31 attacks, according to the Ukrainian military. Despite massive air and artillery strikes, the main lines of defence remain under Ukrainian control.
The General Staff also confirmed that Russian forces used guided bombs on the towns of Novopavlivka, Pokrovsk and Bahatyr, and carried out assault operations in the areas of Huliaipole and Orikhiv.
Fighting continues, particularly near Bilohorivka, Chasiv Yar and in the Kursk direction, where six combat clashes were recorded during the day.
