The Commander-in-Chief worked in the Sumy region in the airborne troops, marines, territorial defense, mechanized and some other units.

In the operational area of the Kursk military grouping, Ukrainian soldiers continue to conduct defensive operations to prevent the enemy from breaking through deep into the territory of Ukraine. For the same purpose, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are conducting counterattack and assault operations.

“In the course of the work, I studied in detail all the problematic issues related to the organization of combat support, and also decided to replenish ammunition, drones and move reserves,” the statement said.

In the seven and a half months since the beginning of the Kursk operation, the total losses inflicted by the Ukrainian military on the enemy amount to more than 55 thousand soldiers. Of these, more than 22.2 thousand are irretrievable, more than 31.8 thousand are sanitary casualties, and more than 940 are captured.
