        19 November 2025 18:15

Russian Kh-101 cruise missiles fired by strategic aviation struck multi-storey residential buildings in the city of Ternopil, the Ukrainian Air Force Command’s Communications Directorate reported. The attack was carried out by six Tu-95MS bombers from the Olenya airbase and four Tu-160MS bombers from the Engels and Ukrainka airbases, with launch areas located in Russia’s Vologda and Astrakhan regions.

Law enforcement officers are examining the missile debris to document yet another Russian terrorist attack against civilians. As of 16:00, fragments from one of the missiles that hit a nine-storey building on 19 November have been found and identified. It was a Kh-101 cruise missile manufactured in the fourth quarter of 2025.

According to verified information repeatedly provided to international partners, Kh-101 missiles contain components produced by companies based in the United States, China, Taiwan, Germany, the Netherlands and other countries.

The Air Force stressed that tragedies like the one in Ternopil could have been avoided if Russia were not able to circumvent the sanctions already imposed on the terrorist state.
