On July 20, the Ukrainian Defense Forces used long-range fire to strike an S-300P anti-aircraft missile system in the Belgorod region. The strike on the Russian air defense system reduced the coverage area of Russian long-range air defense in the region.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the same region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also struck at the Nebo-M radar complex, which critically affected its functionality and simultaneously reduced the operational capabilities of the neighboring 5H66M Big Bird radar station.

According to the General Staff, coordinated strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces significantly weaken Russia’s air defense system, reducing its ability to protect troops and military infrastructure. This creates additional conditions for effective operations by Ukrainian units.

Such actions undermine the Russian army’s ability to hold the occupied territories and demonstrate military presence.

“Ukraine will continue to strike until the occupiers stop their invasion, the territorial integrity of Ukraine is restored and a just and lasting peace is established,” the statement said.
