On the night of 14 December 2024, units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with other components of the Defence Forces, attacked the Stalnyi Kony line production dispatch station in the suburbs of Orel, Oryol region of Russia.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the attack resulted in a massive fire at one of the largest oil terminals in the region.
The Stalnoy Kony station is an important element of the Russian military-industrial complex, supplying oil products to the Russian army.
