On Sunday, July 13, Russian forces attacked the city of Samаr in Dnipropetrovsk region with strike drones. At around 11:05, drone impacts were recorded, igniting a fire. Emergency responders and other services worked at the scene to quickly eliminate the consequences.
According to police, apartment buildings and an educational institution were hit. Windows were shattered and facades damaged. A mobile police assistance point was set up to help local residents.
Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported that local authorities, rescuers, police, utility services, and charity workers were all on site. Residents were given building materials to temporarily cover broken windows.
Authorities also reminded people about the possibility of receiving government aid for housing repairs through the “єВідновлення” program.
Information about the attack has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations.
