On the night of 19 May, Russians attacked Ukraine with 112 Shahed strike UAVs and various types of drone simulators.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
As of 09:30, air defence forces had destroyed 76 enemy Shahed-type UAVs (and other types of drones) in the east, north and centre of the country. Forty-one were shot down by fire weapons, and 35 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare (without negative consequences).
The Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Cherkasy and Kirovohrad regions were affected by the enemy attack.
