One person was killed when a Russian strike hit a private residential building in Kharkiv’s Slobidskyi district. Three others were injured, including a child.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov reported the consequences of the attack.
According to Terekhov, a Russian Shahed-type drone initially fell in an open area of the district. No one was injured in that incident.
A Banderol drone later struck the Slobidskyi district, hitting a private residential building.
As of 9:21 a.m., Terekhov reported one person killed and three injured. A child was among those hurt.
Syniehubov clarified that a 10-year-old boy was among the injured. Another person also required medical assistance.
The strike destroyed the private home. State Emergency Service units, emergency medical crews and other specialized services are working at the scene.

Syniehubov said the number of people injured in Kharkiv’s Slobidskyi district had risen to five, including two children. Terekhov later clarified that six people had been injured in total and that more than ten private homes were damaged in the attack. All those injured are receiving the necessary medical care.
