On the evening of September 14, the Russian army launched a missile strike on a field on the outskirts of one of the villages in the Boromlya community in Sumy region. At that time, harvesting was underway there.
The attack was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Grigorov.
“The enemy targeted a peaceful field where agricultural machinery was working. People who were harvesting crops were injured as a result of the attack,” he said.
Eleven men were injured, all of whom were hospitalized. Doctors assess the condition of one of the victims as serious.
The strike also damaged tractors and combine harvesters that were working in the field.
