Russian troops also attacked Odesa and Sumy regions, causing damage to energy infrastructure. In particular, an FPV drone attack on a substation was recorded in Sumy region, and a power line was damaged by artillery shelling in Nikopol, Dnipro region. As a result of these attacks, about 4,000 customers were left without electricity.

Zelenskyy stressed that these constant and targeted attacks demonstrate Moscow’s disregard for the diplomatic efforts of its partners.

‘We should not wait until April 11, when it will be a month since Russia said “no” to the American proposal for a ceasefire. Action must be taken as soon as possible. We are ready to work with all our partners in the U.S., Europe, and around the world in the most constructive way to achieve this much-needed result—a dignified and lasting peace,’ Zelenskyy stressed.
