Russian troops have started using donkeys as a “vehicle” for logistics.
The photos were published by Russian “war correspondents” and paramilitary telegram channels.
According to the “Zhyvov Z” channel, one of the units received a donkey officially as a regular vehicle, not thanks to volunteers or the initiative of the soldiers.
The “Dva Mayora” channel also published footage showing the animals being kept in pens built from improvised materials.
The use of donkeys is likely due to the lack of vehicles and unmanned platforms for cargo transportation.
However, it is unclear how the Russians plan to use these slow animals, which do not tolerate humid climates and require constant care and adequate nutrition.
