According to preliminary information, Russian forces used a UMPB D-30 SN for the attack.

The full consequences of the strike are still being established. A pre-trial investigation has been launched under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — a war crime.

Following the strike, Donetsk Regional Military Administration head Vadym Filashkin ordered public transport services in Kramatorsk and Sloviansk to be suspended because of a sharp deterioration in the security situation.

“Under these circumstances, we have no right to risk the lives of passengers and drivers. The safety of residents of Kramatorsk and Sloviansk is now the top priority,” the statement said.
