Russian forces launched a missile strike on Pechenihy in the Kharkiv region. According to preliminary information, 10 people were killed.
This was reported by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov.
Another eight people were injured. They are receiving the necessary medical assistance.
The strike damaged 10 private houses, a cafe, a post office, a shop and at least seven vehicles.
Emergency services are working at the scene to deal with the aftermath of the attack.
