A Russian missile attack on a five-storey building in Poltava killed 2 people. Another 7 were injured, including a child.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
Emergency workers rescued 21 people.
‘The entrance from the 1st to the 5th floor was destroyed and a fire broke out. Neighbouring houses and 12 cars were damaged. Rescue operations are ongoing at the scene,’ the rescuers said in a statement.
