        Russian guided bomb strike on Zaporizhzhia kills one, injures 14

        Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs on October 9. One man was killed and 14 people were injured in the strikes.

        This was reported by the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor’s Office and the Interior Ministry.

        The strikes on civilian infrastructure continued from 4:50 a.m. to 5:59 a.m.

        Apartment buildings, an extracurricular education facility and vehicles were damaged. A 14-year-old girl was among the 14 people injured. The man who was killed was 48.

        State Emergency Service psychologists provided assistance to 23 people.

        Emergency rescue operations have been completed. Municipal services are carrying out recovery work.
