On August 12, at around 01:40, Russian Shahed drones attacked the Central district of Kherson. As a result of the strikes, two people were killed and two other city residents were wounded.

The identities of the two people killed are currently being established.
A 46-year-old man was hospitalized. He was diagnosed with a blast injury and burns covering 60% of the surface of his head, torso, limbs, and face.
A 60-year-old woman was also injured. She suffered a concussion, a blast injury, and a facial wound.
After receiving medical assistance, the woman was prescribed outpatient treatment.
