A Russian Shahed drone struck Ivano-Frankivsk overnight on October 9. One civilian was killed in the attack, and fires broke out at the scene.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service in Ivano-Frankivsk region and Ivano-Frankivsk Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv.
Drone debris damaged an outbuilding. The man who was killed worked as a security guard.
“There is one civilian fatality in Ivano-Frankivsk, a security guard who was guarding the building,” Martsinkiv said.
The damaged building, dry grass and shrubs in an open area caught fire.
A total of 47 rescuers and 12 emergency vehicles were involved in extinguishing the fires.
