Russian army attacks Cherkasy: there are hits

On October 23, the Russian army attacked Cherkasy region with drones, damaging a bus station and a private enterprise in Cherkasy, a residential building, a garage, and cars.

This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration Ihor Taburets on Telegram.

“Since nightfall, our Cherkasy region has been under enemy fire. The air defense forces, our mobile fire groups and electronic warfare units destroyed 6 attack UAVs. However, we also had some hits.”

According to Taburets, in Cherkasy district, the militants were targeting infrastructure facilities.

“We are establishing the damage caused. In particular, the building of a completely civilian bus station in the regional center was damaged. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire. The administrative building of a private enterprise and cars were also damaged,” said the head of the regional military administration.

In Zolotonosha district, fragments of a Russian drone damaged the roof of a private house, and in Uman district, a private garage and several cars.

According to Taburets, there were no casualties, and the area is being inspected.
