During the night of October 31, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian Railways facilities in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions. The incident was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.

In Sumy, the enemy hit a passenger depot, damaging and destroying company facilities and rolling stock. Replacement cars were quickly provided for train No. 779/780 Sumy–Kyiv, which departed on schedule.

Railway infrastructure was also damaged near Lozova. Train No. 228/227 Husarivka–Ivano-Frankivsk is following a modified route, and railway workers are doing their best to minimize delays.
