During a night attack on the Kyiv region, Russian drones struck the logistics center of the Epicenter construction hypermarket chain.
The company reported that there were no casualties or injuries, but the facility suffered serious damage.
“During the full-scale war, dozens of the chain’s facilities in various regions of Ukraine have been destroyed. According to estimates by independent experts, the total amount of damage to the Epicenter group of companies caused by military aggression has already exceeded $1 billion,” the statement said.
The State Emergency Service reported that a large number of rescuers, equipment, and aircraft were involved in the cleanup.
“Firefighting is complicated by the dense loading of warehouses, so volunteer fire brigades, representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross, and auxiliary equipment are providing additional assistance,” the rescuers said.

On May 25, 2024, at around 4 p.m., Russian troops launched an air strike on the Epicenter construction hypermarket in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv. Nineteen people were killed, including two children: a 12-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy. Forty-six people were injured.
