On the night of August 19, Russian occupation forces attacked Ukraine with 280 airborne weapons.
According to the Air Force, the enemy used strike UAVs, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles. Air defense forces managed to neutralize 236 air targets:
- 230 out of 270 Shahed-type UAVs and dummy drones;
- 2 out of 5 Iskander-M ballistic missiles;
- 4 out of 5 Kh-101 cruise missiles.
Four missiles and 40 UAVs were recorded hitting 16 locations, with debris falling at three locations.
The main target of the occupiers was Kremenchuk in the Poltava region. According to the regional administration, the attack damaged the administrative buildings of local energy sector enterprises.
