The 1,157th day of large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun. From April 24 to 25, 175 combat engagements were recorded on the front line. The most intense fighting continues in the Pokrovsk and Kursk directions.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the day, the enemy launched one missile and 110 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, using 72 missiles and dropping 201 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out 6,178 shelling attacks, including 115 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 3,148 kamikaze drones.
The aggressor carried out air strikes on the following populated areas:
- Ugroidy, Krasnopillia, Stepok, Ryasne, Myropilske in the Sumy region;
- Kremskaia in the Chernihiv region;
- Ridkodub, Putnikove in the Kharkiv region;
- Oleksandro-Kalinove, Mykolaivka, Yablunivka, Hrodivka, Sukhyi Yar, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Zelenyi Kut, Novopavlivka, Myrnohrad, Muravka, Dachne, Novopil, Bahatyr, Yarova, Pryiut, Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region;
- Hulyaypole, Temyrivka, Primorske, Zaporizhzhia region.
Kupyansk, Lyman, and Siverskyi directions
Yesterday, there were four attacks by invaders in the Kupyansk direction. Ukrainian defenders stopped the enemy’s assault in the areas of Nova Kruglyakivka, Zahrzyzove, and towards Bohuslavka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 15 times. They tried to break through the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defenses near Novyi, Kolodyaziv, Torske, Yampilivka, and in the directions of Olhivka, Ridkodub, and Novyi Mir.
In the Siverskyi direction, the defense forces stopped eight offensive actions by the invaders near Bilohorivka, in the direction of Verkhniokamianka and Hryhorivka.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Pokrovsk directions
Yesterday, 13 combat engagements were recorded in the Kramatorsk direction in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Andriivka, and towards Bila Hora, Predtechino, and Diliivka.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 17 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Leonidivka, Shcherbinivka, Dachne, and towards Diliivka and Novospaske.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 65 assaults by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Vodyane Druhe, Zvirove, Tarasivka, Sukhyi Yar, Berezivka, Malynivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Uspivka, Novooleksandrivka, Nadiivka, Kotlyarivka, Andriivka, as well as in the direction of the settlements of Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, Chunyishyne, Oleksiivka, Stara Mykolaivka, Romanivka, and Myrolyubivka.
Novopavlivka, Orikhiv, Kursk, and other directions
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy carried out ten attacks yesterday near the settlements of Kostyantynopil, Pryvillia, and in the direction of Rozliv and Odrudne.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy made nine attempts to advance near the settlements of Novodanilivka, Mali Shcherbaky, Stepove, Shcherbaky, and in the direction of Mala Tokmachka. They were unsuccessful.
In the Dnipro direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped three attempts by the enemy to advance.
Ukrainian defense forces continue their operation in the Kursk region. Over the past day, the enemy carried out 17 airstrikes, dropping 26 guided air bombs, and fired 367 times, including five times with multiple launch rocket systems. Ukrainian defenders stopped 27 assaults by the invaders.
No combat clashes were recorded in the Huliaipole and Kharkiv directions over the past day.
No signs of enemy offensive group formations were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
