Over 1,500 multi-storey residential buildings were connected to the heating supply in Kyiv overnight. Work continues following an emergency situation in Ukraine’s energy system.
This was announced by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
According to him, last night, municipal services managed to restore heat supply to more than 1,500 high-rise buildings in the capital, which were left without heat due to an emergency situation in the power system.
As of now, about 1,000 buildings in Kyiv remain without heat. Utility and energy workers continue to work to restore heat to Kyiv residents’ apartments as soon as possible.
