Orban speculates on the “Christmas truce” again

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban commented on the statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who criticized his attempts to “mediate” in the war with Russia.

Orban said that Hungary would not respond to any “provocations.”

“We will not respond to any provocations. There is a ceasefire proposal on the table. Accept it or reject it. It is your responsibility,” Orban wrote.

Earlier, Zelenskyy said that Orban has no leverage over Kremlin dictator Putin, so Kyiv does not need his mediation.
