The 1143rd day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. From April 10 to April 11, 148 combat engagements were registered in the frontline. The most tense situation remains in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian defenders stopped 53 attacks.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy launched two missile and 106 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, used three missiles and dropped 165 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out about six thousand attacks, 96 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,388 kamikaze drones to attack.
The occupiers carried out air strikes in the vicinity of populated areas:
- Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Kharkiv region;
- Petrushivka, Osoyivka, Ugroids, Mala Rybytsia, Prokhody and Velykyi Prykil in Sumy region;
- Hrodivka, Sukha Balka, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Zorya, Stara Mykolayivka, Pokrovsk in Donetsk region;
- Novodarivka, Gulyaypole, Pavlivka, Shcherbaky, Zaliznychne in Zaporizhzhia region.
Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Lyman and Siversk directions
In the Kharkiv sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled four enemy attacks near Vovchansk.
In the Kupyansk sector, five occupants’ attacks took place yesterday. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults in the direction of Nova Kruhlyakivka, Pishchane and in the area of Zahryzove.
The enemy attacked in the Liman sector 13 times. He tried to advance near the settlements of Nadiya, Nove, Yampolivka and in the directions of Torske, Dronivka, Hrekivka, Olhivka, Katerynivka, Novomykhailivka.
In the Siversky sector, Ukrainian troops repelled eight enemy attacks yesterday. Occupants’ units tried to advance towards Hryhorivka and in the areas of Bilohorivka and Verkhnekamianske.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk and Pokrovsk sectors
In the Kramatorsk sector, three firefights were registered in the areas of Bila Hora and Kurdyumivka.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy made 22 attacks in the direction of Diliyivka and in the vicinity of Druzhba and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 53 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the directions of Romanivka, Oleksandropol, Serhiyivka, Kotlyarivka and near Kalynove, Sribne, Tarasivka, Sukhoi Balka, Valentynivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Zvirove, Udachne, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, and Bohdanivka.
Novopavlivske, Huliaypillia, Kursk and other directions
In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled three enemy attacks near Kostiantynopil and Bahatyr.
In the Huliaipil sector, the invaders made three attacks in the vicinity of Pryvilne.
In the Prydniprovsky sector, the enemy made two futile attempts to advance to the positions of Ukrainian defenders.
In the operational zone in the Kursk region, 24 combat engagements of varying intensity took place yesterday. In addition, the enemy launched 45 air strikes using 62 guided aerial bombs, and fired 372 artillery shells at Ukrainian positions and localities, including 12 from multiple launch rocket systems.
No combat engagements took place in the Orikhiv sector yesterday.
No signs of enemy offensive groups forming were detected in the Volyn and Polissya sectors.
