Ukrainian tennis player Oleksandra Oliinykova has won the WTA 125 tournament in Colina, Chile, defeating France’s Leolia Jeanjean in the final. It is her second consecutive title and her third WTA 125 trophy this season.

Oleksandra Oliinykova (109) captured the WTA 125 title in Colina, Chile, according to Champion. In the final, the Ukrainian defeated Leolia Jeanjean (106) 7:5, 6:1 after 1 hour and 52 minutes of play.

The match started poorly for Oliinykova — she struggled to adapt to the strong wind and her opponent’s playing style, losing her first three service games. But from 1:4 onwards the momentum shifted: she began stabilising her groundstrokes and finding openings for attacks from the baseline. By the end of the match, Jeanjean was showing more frustration than resistance.

Oliinykova won 12 of the next 14 games to secure a dominant victory. She hit one ace, committed no double faults and made six breaks of serve. Jeanjean produced no aces, made two double faults and recorded three breaks.

This is Oliinykova’s tenth consecutive match win; just two weeks ago she triumphed at another WTA 125 event in Tucumán, Argentina. Overall, it is her third title of this category this season.

In the updated WTA rankings to be published on 24 November, Oliinykova will enter the top-100 for the first time, rising to No. 95 — effectively securing a place in the main draw of the 2026 Australian Open.

On her way to the title she confidently passed Elizabeth Mandlik (185) in the first round, crushed Sada Nahimana (238) in the second, defeated experienced Polona Hercog (884) in the quarterfinals and overcame Laura Samson (265) in the semifinals.
