Odesa came under a massive drone attack overnight. According to preliminary information, there are casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure.
On the night of April 27, according to the head of the Odesa City Military Administration Serhii Lysak, the city was under a massive enemy attack. Hits were recorded in residential areas and civilian facilities in different parts of the city.
According to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper, the attack damaged residential buildings, a hotel building, warehouses and private vehicles. Drone debris also fell within the city, causing localized fires.
Preliminary reports indicated casualties: at least nine people according to Kiper and 13 people according to Lysak. All relevant services and medics are working at the sites, operational headquarters are being deployed, and assistance is being provided to the injured.
During the attack, an air raid alert was in effect and air defense systems were operating. Residents were urged to stay in shelters until the all-clear. Information about the consequences of the attack is being clarified.
