The Russian army attacked Kharkiv on Sunday evening, causing problems with electricity supply, injuring 12 people, including one child.
This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov and the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleg Sinegubov on Telegram.
At 22:10, the mayor said that explosions were heard in Kharkiv, the city was under attack by enemy CABs.
He later clarified that three districts of the city were under attack. ‘Some of them have some problems with electricity supply,’ Terekhov added.
Later, the head of the JMA, Oleg Sinegubov, reported 2 casualties.
At 22:40, Sinehubov reported four injured, one man was hospitalised. A house is on fire, a service station is damaged. There is also damage to a petrol station.
Later, Terekhov clarified that a petrol station, service station, private houses and high-voltage transmission lines were damaged in Kyivskyi district. In Osnovyansky district, apartment blocks, private houses, and garages were damaged.
At 23:02, Terekhov reported 9 injured, including at least one child.
At 3:00 a.m., police reported that the number of people injured in Kharkiv due to Russian shelling had increased to 12.
