The 1,167th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. During the day, 269 combat engagements were recorded on the front line, 115 of which were in the Pokrovsk direction alone.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike using one missile against the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, as well as 106 air strikes, including 167 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out 5,550 shellings, including 121 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,628 kamikaze drones.
The aggressor carried out air strikes on the following populated areas:
- Ryasne, Velyka Pysarivka, Tymonovychi in the Sumy region;
- Zakharivka, Rubizhne, Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region;
- Pokrovsk, Sukhyi Yar, Zoria, Leonidivka, Druzhkivka, Rusyn Yar, Malynivka, Udachne, Novopavlivka, Zelenyi Kut, Novoukrainka, Novopil, Bahatyr, Zelenyi Pole in the Donetsk region;
- Novodarivka, Huliaipole, Vysoke, Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia region;
- Vesele, Beryslav, Burgunka, Kherson region.
Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Lyman, and Siverskyi directions
Over the past day, five combat clashes took place in the Kharkiv direction in the areas of Vovchansk, Stroivka, and Tykhy.
Seven attacks by the occupiers were recorded in the Kupiansk direction over the past day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults in the areas of Golubivka, Petropavlivka, and towards Pishchane, Hlushevka, and Novoosynove.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 22 times. They attempted to advance in the areas of the settlements of Nove, Kopanky, Tverdokhlibove, Kolodyazi, and towards Zelenaya Dolina, Lipove, Olgivka, and Ridkodub.
In the Siverskyi direction, three clashes took place in the directions of Hryhorivka and Verkhniokam’yanske over the past day. All enemy attempts to advance were repelled by Ukrainian defenders.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Pokrovsk directions
Over the past day, ten clashes took place in the Kramatorsk direction towards Maiske, Bila Hora, and near Stupochky and Chasiv Yar.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 16 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Druzhba, and in the direction of Diliivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 115 attacks by the aggressor in the direction of the settlements of Hnativka, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Novoserhiivka, Stara Mykolaivka, Nova Poltavka, Oleksiivka, Bahatyr, as well as in the areas of the settlements of Malynivka, Dachenske, Zvirove, Novooleksandrivka, Udachne, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Shevchenko, Kotlyarivka, Troitske, Andriivka, and Bohdanivka.
Novopavlivka, Orikhiv, and Kursk directions
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 52 enemy assaults near the settlements of Kostiantynopil, Rivnopil, Novopil, Novosilka, Pryvilne, and in the direction of the settlements of Zelenе Pole, Shevchenko, and Bahatyr.
The enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders five times in the Vysokyi area in the Huliaipilska direction.
In the Orikhiv direction, near Novoandriivka, Piatykhatky, and Stepove, the invaders carried out three futile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders.
In the Prydniprovska direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.
In the Kursk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 23 enemy attacks over the past day. The enemy carried out 317 artillery strikes, including 11 from multiple launch rocket systems. There were also 10 air strikes, during which 13 guided bombs were dropped.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
