Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence has tested a new generation of strike FPV drones capable of hitting targets under various types of electronic warfare. Some of the solutions successfully completed tasks in conditions максимально close to combat, said Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
According to Mykhailo Fedorov, the ministry, together with Brave1, conducted field tests of FPV drones from eight Ukrainian manufacturers. During the trials, the drones covered distances of up to 25 km and hit targets even under different EW воздействие.
The development of this FPV segment is also supported by UAV efficiency adviser Serhii Sternenko. The ministry noted that once effectiveness is confirmed, solutions are immediately scaled and delivered to military units.
The ministry added that it has already simplified codification to shorten the path from development to the фронт, changed the approach to demand formation — 80% of resources are allocated to proven solutions and 20% to new technologies — and is conducting regular field tests together with Brave1.
