Over the past day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 19 settlements across the region. One person was killed and 17 others were injured, including four children.
This was reported by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov.
In Izium, a 26-year-old man was killed. Another 12 people suffered blast injuries, including a one-year-old girl, boys aged 14 and 17, and a 16-year-old girl. An 81-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction.
A 62-year-old man was also injured on the road between Zolochiv and Derhachi. A 63-year-old woman was injured in the village of Oskil, a 68-year-old man in Pidlyman, and a 45-year-old man between Shypuvate and Andriivka.
Russian drones attacked the Kyivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of Kharkiv.
In total, Russian forces used nine guided aerial bombs, one MLRS attack, Geran-2 and Lancet drones, five Molniya drones, eight FPV drones and another 205 UAVs whose type is being determined.
A vehicle was damaged in Kharkiv. Damage was also recorded in the Bohodukhiv, Kupiansk, Izium, Kharkiv, Lozova and Chuhuiv districts.
The damaged sites included residential buildings, administrative and educational facilities, a medical facility, a shop, a cafe, a music school, a farm, a grain warehouse, vehicles and power lines.
The transit evacuation center in Lozova received 229 people over the past day. A total of 59,667 people have been registered there since it began operating.
On the South Slobozhanskyi axis, Ukrainian forces repelled five Russian attacks. On the Kupiansk axis, Russian troops carried out eight assault attempts.
