The number of people killed in Kyiv as a result of the massive Russian attack has risen to 17.
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported the updated death toll.
Emergency and rescue operations are continuing at the site of the Russian strike. Rescuers are still working at locations where destruction was recorded after the overnight attack.
The emergency service said the information is being updated.
Earlier, 13 deaths had been reported in Kyiv. Dozens of people were also injured, and damage was recorded in all districts of the capital.
According to city authorities, the worst destruction was in the Darnytskyi district, where part of a residential building was effectively torn down. Search and rescue operations are continuing there.
