The Kharkiv Regional Military Administration is considering the evacuation of animals from the Kharkiv ecopark, located in the nearest suburb of Kharkiv. The reason is the growing threat of attacks by Russian FPV drones.

This was stated by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, according to Gwara Media.

According to Syniehubov, planned mass events at the ecopark have already been repeatedly canceled or postponed because of the risk of attacks.

“We are communicating with them and preparing for the possibility that evacuation measures for this facility may be carried out. Because the situation there will only become more difficult,” Syniehubov said.

At the same time, according to the regional administration, the increased number of FPV drone attacks on Kharkiv is not related to changes on the frontline. Russian forces are using a new tactic in which separate groups launch drones capable of flying up to 30 kilometers from their launch site.

Earlier, Syniehubov suggested that anti-drone nets could be installed not only around, but also deeper inside the territory of Kharkiv because of the increased activity of Russian FPV drones in recent months.
