In Kherson, Russian troops fired on rescuers who were working at the site of a previous strike during the day.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
According to the SES, as a result of the first shelling, a two-story non-residential building caught fire in one of the city’s districts. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the fire.
However, during the extinguishing process, the enemy launched a second attack.
‘Fortunately, the rescuers managed to take cover — there were no casualties,’ the agency reported.

After fleeing Kherson in 2022, Russian occupiers continue to terrorise the city and the region — increasingly using drones, artillery and guided aerial bombs.
