On February 10, a private house caught fire as a result of shelling in Kupiansk, Kharkiv region. The 99-year-old owner of the house was injured, but she refused to be hospitalized.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Kharkiv region.
At the time of the arrival of fire and rescue units, the destroyed structural elements of the house were burning on an area of 20 square meters. Rescuers were working under the threat of repeated enemy attacks. Nine rescuers and two units of special equipment of the State Emergency Service were involved.
According to the rescuers, the woman born in 1925 suffered an acute stress reaction. According to the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, the victim refused to be hospitalized.
