        Hottest day in the frontline: intense fighting continues in the Pokrovsk and Lyman sectors

        As of 16:00 on April 7, 2025, a total of 77 combat clashes have been recorded on the front lines. The most tense situation remains in the Pokrovsk direction, where Russian forces have conducted 30 assaults since the beginning of the day. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

        In Donetsk region, combat operations continue in the Lyman, Kramatorsk, and Toretsk directions. In the Lyman area, 13 enemy attacks have been recorded, with six clashes still ongoing. Near Chasiv Yar and Kurdyumivka, Ukrainian forces successfully halted the advance of the occupiers. In the Toretsk area, the enemy launched eight assaults, one of which is still ongoing.

        On the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian forces repelled five attacks near Kostiantynopol and Skudnе. Fighting continues on the Kursk direction, where our defenders have already repelled six attacks, with three clashes still ongoing.

        Additionally, the border villages of Sumy region have found themselves under enemy airstrikes. The enemy continues shelling from Russian territory, striking populated areas and Ukrainian Armed Forces positions with artillery and guided aerial bombs.
