The Ministry of Energy said that on the night of 28-29 November, Russia launched a massive missile and drone strike on the energy infrastructure of Kyiv and the surrounding regions. The attacks targeted facilities in Kyiv, as well as in the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Kharkiv regions.

According to the Ministry of Energy, as of this morning, more than 500,000 consumers in the capital, more than 100,000 in the Kyiv region, and about 8,000 in the Kharkiv region were left without power.

Emergency repair work is continuing in those areas where the security situation allows. The ministry noted that energy companies are doing everything possible to restore power as quickly as possible.
