According to him, four strikes were recorded, damaging several high-rise residential buildings—windows were shattered and a gas pipeline was severed.
As reported by Oleh Synehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, powerful explosions were heard in the city; preliminary information suggests these were missile strikes. At the time of the initial reports, there was no information about casualties; the consequences of the strikes were being assessed, and the threat remained.
It was later reported that a 63-year-old woman was injured in the shelling. She was hospitalized, and medical personnel are providing the necessary care. An 18-year-old girl also suffered an acute stress reaction.
