        Explosions rocked Volyn throughout the night: 103,000 homes left without power after Russian attack

        On the night of 1 January, the Volyn region came under heavy attack from the Russians. The occupiers used Shahed UAVs for the strikes.

        This was reported by the head of the Volyn Regional State Administration, Ivan Rudnytskyi.

        ‘Several dozen enemy targets again attacked critical infrastructure facilities in Volyn. Some of the Shaheds were shot down – thanks to the air defence forces,’ the report said.

        Hits were recorded, resulting in fires that are still being extinguished. In particular, in Lutsk and the Kovel district.

        According to Volynoblenergo, 103,341 subscribers are currently disconnected.

        As of now, there has been no information about injuries or deaths.
