As of 16:00 on 13 April, the enemy attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces 82 times. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a summary of the situation at the front. The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk sector.
Border areas, including the settlements of Sumy region – Emadykino, Shalygino, Mezenivka, Slavgorod, Lisne, Miropilske and Petrushivka – came under artillery and aerial shelling.
In the Kharkiv sector, Russian proxies twice tried to advance towards Vovchansk and Vovchanski Khutory, and another engagement is ongoing. In the Kupyansk sector, two hostile attacks were registered near Petropavlivka and Zahryzove.
Ukrainian troops repelled four attacks in the Liman sector, with three more ongoing in the areas of Serhiivka and Novove. In the Kramatorsk sector, two attacks took place near Predtechine.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy made eight attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Ozaryanivka, Druzhba and Leonidivka. Five engagements are ongoing.
The most intense fighting took place in the Pokrovsk sector. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attacked 27 times near Sukha Balka, Tarasivka, Vodiane Druha, Yelizavetivka, Kotlynove, Novoserhiivka, Bohdanivka and Andriivka. Ukrainian defenders repelled 24 attacks, three more battles are ongoing. Air strikes on Nova Poltavka were also recorded.
In the Novopavlivka sector, one battle is ongoing near Kostiantynopil, and four attacks have already been repelled. In the Huliaipole sector, our forces held off four attacks near Novopillia, Pryvilne, Vilne Pole and Shevchenko. Five more clashes are ongoing. At the same time, air strikes were registered in Novopole, Zelene Pole, Shevchenko, Chervone, Malynivka and Gulyaypole.
In the Orikhiv sector, the occupants attacked Stepove, Shcherbaky and Mali Shcherbaky. Two attacks were repelled and another is ongoing. One hostile attack was registered in the Prydniprovsky sector.
No active hostilities were registered in the Siversky sector. In the area of Kurdyumivka, Ukrainian troops repelled 13 attacks, and another engagement is ongoing. The enemy dropped 48 aerial bombs and fired 319 artillery rounds, including 14 from multiple rocket launchers.
No significant changes were recorded in other parts of the frontline.
