Several settlements were damaged in a massive nighttime attack by attack drones on Kharkiv region. The fires engulfed educational and administrative buildings, residential buildings and infrastructure, the State Emergency Service reports.
In Lozova, a drone hit the territory of an educational institution, causing a roof fire. Damage to residential buildings and other facilities was reported nearby. A 45-year-old woman was injured and diagnosed with an acute stress reaction.
In the village of Velykyi Burluk in Kupyansk district, a two-storey administrative building was destroyed as a result of the attack and caught fire. In Izyum, a fire broke out in a warehouse after shelling, and in Balakliya, private houses and cars were damaged. A fire also broke out in a non-residential building in Balakliya, which rescuers quickly extinguished.
The State Emergency Service units, including pyrotechnic and medical teams, were deployed to respond to the attacks. Regional authorities are currently assessing the damage and the extent of the destruction.
