During the night of 15-16 November 2024 (starting at 20:30 on 15 November), the enemy launched an attack on the Kharkiv region using an S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile and deployed 83 Shahed-type attack drones, as well as unidentified UAVs, from the areas of Kursk, Orel, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
As of 08:30 a.m., the Ukrainian Air Force Command reported the successful downing of 53 enemy drones across the Cherkasy, Odesa, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
Thanks to the active efforts of the Defence Forces, 30 additional enemy UAVs lost their operational capability in various regions of Ukraine.
