At least 14 people were killed in a rocket attack on Kryvyi Rih on the evening of April 4. Six children were among the victims.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the missile attack.
“A Russian missile on an ordinary city. Just down the street. On the territory with residential buildings. Preliminary, it was a ballistic missile strike. As of now, 14 people have been killed, including six children. My condolences to the families and friends. The rescue operation continues. At least five houses were damaged,” Zelensky wrote.
According to Oleksandr Vilkul, the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, the Russian occupiers hit near a playground.
The number of victims is constantly increasing, with fifty wounded reported earlier. Fires broke out in the city, and high-rise buildings were damaged. An aid center has been set up in the nearest school.
