Another person injured in Russia’s massive attack on Kyiv on the night of June 2 has died in hospital. The death toll in the capital has risen to seven people.
Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko reported this.
A total of 90 people were injured in the large-scale attack. Fifty-two of the wounded remain hospitalized, including two children.
As previously reported, during the night of June 2, Russian forces attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles and drones. As a result of the strikes, residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged in different districts of the city.
The Podilskyi district suffered the greatest destruction, where the upper floors of a nine-story residential building partially collapsed after a strike.
The attack also affected the Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava and Chernihiv regions. In Dnipro, the death toll has reached 16 people.
