June 24 has been declared a day of mourning in Kryvyi Rih for those killed in a Russian missile strike that claimed the lives of three people.
This was announced by the head of the city’s Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.
Two men aged 25 and 34, as well as a 54-year-old woman, were killed in the attack.
The number of injured has risen to 25. Twenty people remain hospitalized. Among them, three are in serious condition, while one person is in extremely serious condition. A young man and an elderly woman also remain in critical condition.
On June 23, Russian forces struck civilian infrastructure in Kryvyi Rih with an Iskander-M ballistic missile equipped with a cluster warhead.
The attack damaged industrial infrastructure facilities. In particular, a disused building, an excavator, and a passenger car were damaged.
“People were killed about 200 meters apart because of this barbaric weapon. This is yet another bloody crime committed by the Russian occupiers. In total, 118 civilians have already been killed in Kryvyi Rih by enemy missile and drone attacks, including 16 children. Every life lost is our shared pain,” Vilkul wrote.
