A British serviceman was killed in a road traffic accident in Ukraine. Major Paul Wilks was 40 years old.
This was stated in a post by the UK Ministry of Defence on X.
“It is with great sadness that we confirm the death of Major Paul Wilks, who died in a tragic road traffic incident in Ukraine,” the ministry said.
The accident occurred on September 12. The location of the incident was not specified, but the UK Ministry of Defence said it happened far from the front lines.
According to The Telegraph, the 40-year-old British serviceman was a father of two.
