On the night of March 19, an air raid alert was declared in Sevastopol due to a drone attack. This was reported by the Russian-installed head of the city, Mikhail Razvozhaev.
According to him, Russian air defense allegedly shot down 27 drones. As a result of the attack, one man was killed, residential buildings were damaged, and a fire broke out at one of the industrial facilities in the area of Fiolentovskoye Highway.
Razvozhaev said that debris from downed UAVs caused grass to catch fire in the Streletskaya Bay area. A section of the roof of an apartment building also caught fire near Victory Park. In the Fiolent area, a private house and a forest belt caught fire, while on Fiolentovskoye Highway grass and one of the industrial buildings were set ablaze.
In addition, windows were shattered in several residential buildings on Vakulenchuka Street, and eight vehicles were damaged by debris.

At the same time, the Telegram channel “Crimean Wind” reported that a building of the Russian defense concern Almaz-Antey on Fiolentovskoye Highway was damaged in the attack. According to the report, the road near the facility was closed on the morning of March 19.
