A differentiated air raid warning system is being put into operation in Kharkiv, the Kharkiv City Council reports.
“Today, on February 7, the Executive Committee of the City Council decided to put into operation a local automated centralized alert system in Kharkiv,” the statement said.
The city council notes that the system has passed all the necessary tests and is ready for its intended use.
The differentiated alarm system is a system that will be activated only in case of danger directly for Kharkiv, not for the entire region.
This will help reduce the number of alarms in the city and create more comfortable conditions for businesses, including shopping centers, banks and other institutions. The system has several power sources, redundant communication channels, and voice messages that allow specifying the type of threat to the city.
